Creation rules
Legal grounding
All creations must have a legal grounding.
Original creations only
All work must be created originally or with the help of AI. You may not use any 3rd party assets unless specified otherwise by your Polis unless those assets are under the MIT open source license.
This is also the case if you are in your 60-day Initial Contribution Phase.
Company time
You cannot work on open source projects on another companies time without violating our terms of service. If you are paid for 8 hours work at a company, those whole 8 hours belong to that company and working even on open source projects during that time is strictly legally forbidden.
You may however attend meetings or participate in planning sessions as long as no tangible end-product is created on another company's time.
World Lab only
Only individuals that are officially part of World Lab can participate.
Discord use
All participants in the World Lab should be available in Discord voice chat when working on their individual project at all times. This leads to workplace-level efficiency and is required from all participants.
Ethical creation
All projects must be created within the framework of World Lab's ethical guidelines.
Avoid:
- Gambling mechanics
- Sexual content
- Horror
- Violence that depicts terror or gore.
